to Taj Guernsey’s Premier Indian Restaurant, we are conveniently located in the heart of St. Peter Port overlooking the Marina. We are fully licensed Restaurant and also offer a takeaway service. We have been established for over 30 years, and recognized locally and nationally for serving the highest standards of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine.

Here at the Taj you can experience some of the more unusual dishes prepared by award winning chefs, as well as the ever popular Curries, Tandoori, and Balti Dishes. All the dishes are created with the finest collection of herbs and spices, which are blended together in the traditional way to produce dishes that have their own distinctive flavour and aroma all served in a relaxed atmosphere in fully air conditioned classical eastern surroundings.

About the Location

Taj is located on the ground floor at 23 The Quay, St Peter Port a historic building and has been a restaurant for many years, most people remember it as the Steak and Stilton, or le cru wine bar or most recently known as Smugglers Bar  before finally changing into the”Taj Restaurant”
